Although residential beds for clients children is not as common as other specialized types of addiction rehab centers, they do, in fact, exist if you are in need. The parent is able to receive the drug addiction treatment they need while remaining close with their children through the difficult process of substance abuse recovery. A lot of parents (mothers in particular) do not want to admit that they need help with their substance abuse issuesfor fear that their children will be taken from them. These programs help to alleviate this fear while providing the care and support that both parent and child so desperately need.
