  • Drug Overdose Facts
  • A "bag" or single dose of heroin contains around 50 milligrams of powder.
  • Individuals who consume high doses of PCP may experience high blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration drop.
  • Ambien users who use the drug over an extended period of time are more likely to experience severe withdrawal symptoms including seizures.
  • Effective treatment for heroin addiction is available, and users seeking treatment should enroll in a residential drug treatment program that can assist them with withdrawal and recovery from their addiction.
  • GHB rape cases are nearly impossible to prosecute primarily because victims have very little memory of what actually took place after they knowingly or unknowingly ingested the substance.

Outpatient Treatment

Drug treatment services which are offered on an outpatient basis are available to addicted individuals who have circumstances which prevent them from being able to take part in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. An outpatient drug treatment facility offers many of the same services as an inpatient program, but allows for flexibility as opposed to an inpatient drug or alcohol treatment program where the person is required to remain at the treatment center until treatment has been fully completed. Outpatient drug rehab is also available for individuals who have completed residential or inpatient treatment but also need a comprehensive aftercare and relapse prevention program which will offer additional support and treatment to help them remain clean and sober.
