  • Drug Overdose Facts
  • Addiction to crack cocaine develops quickly, sometimes after just a few times of smoking it.
  • Drug rehab can be delivered in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings, each having a specific treatment approach but with a number of therapeutic interventions and services being integrated into any given setting.
  • Individuals who make Ecstasy can add anything they want to the drug, so its purity is always in question.
  • In many instances, drug overdose deaths can be attributed to the amount of time that has lapsed between the initial signs of an overdose, and the time that it takes to administer the appropriate medical treatment.
  • Because LSD is produced illegally in the United States, the process by which it is produced and drug purity cannot be monitored which often leads to questionable purity and strength.

Outpatient Treatment

Drug or alcohol treatment services which are delivered on an outpatient basis are available to addicted individuals who have circumstances which prevent them from being able to take part in an inpatient treatment facility. An outpatient substance abuse rehab center delivers many of the same services as an inpatient program, but allows for flexibility as opposed to an inpatient drug or alcohol treatment center where the person is expected to remain at the treatment center until treatment is complete. Outpatient drug or alcohol treatment is also available for those who have already gone through residential or inpatient treatment but require a thorough aftercare program which will provide further support and therapy to help them avoid relapse.
