  • Drug Overdose Facts
  • GHB rape cases are nearly impossible to prosecute primarily because victims have very little memory of what actually took place after they knowingly or unknowingly ingested the substance.
  • Amphetamines sold to individuals by drug dealers are available as crystals, chunks, and fine to coarse powders, off-white to yellow in color in plastic or foil bags or in capsules or tablets of various sizes and colors.
  • Common Dilaudid withdrawal symptoms may occur four to five hours after the last dose.
  • Excuses for using methamphetamine vary from person to person, although most users cite having used the drug for increased energy and productivity, its low cost, self-medication for depression or attention deficits, and the euphoric high.
  • Anabolic steroid users become addicted to these drugs and continue to take them in spite of physical problems and other negative effects on their social relations.

Outpatient Treatment

Drug or alcohol treatment programs which are offered on an outpatient basis are readily available to addicted people who have circumstances which prevent them from being able to participate in an inpatient treatment center. An outpatient drug rehabilitation center provides many of the same services as an inpatient program, but allows for flexibility as opposed to an inpatient drug or alcohol rehab facility where the individual is required to remain at the treatment facility until treatment has been fully completed. Outpatient drug or alcohol rehab is also offered for individuals who have already gone through residential or inpatient treatment but require a comprehensive aftercare program which will offer further support and therapy to help them avoid relapse.
