  • Drug Overdose Facts
  • Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opiate pain killer which is similar to but 100 times more potent than morphine.
  • Ecstasy is frequently combined with alcohol or other types of drugs, which greatly increases the user's risk of a potentially fatal Ecstasy overdose.
  • Individuals who extract the fentanyl from a time release patch and consume it all at once are receiving far too much of the drug at one time than was ever legitimately intended.
  • Ecstasy can interfere with its own metabolism and can reach potentially harmful levels in the body, especially after repeated doses of Ecstasy within short periods of time.
  • According to data that has been compiled from the National Vital Statistics System, drug poisoning incidents have accounted for the large majority of all unintentional poisoning deaths in the United States.

Dui/Dwi Offender Programs

DUI/DWI offenders are usually required to attend a certain number of hours either in counseling, meetings or a drug or alcohol treatment program. Each state has its own requirements when it comes to sentencing for the DUI/DWI offender. Offenders who are deemed low to moderate DUI/DWI offenders will typically be required to participate in some form of group counseling or therapy. These are sometimes referred to as "Level I & Level II Alcohol Classes". These meetings are usually held by a professional in the field of addiction recovery or a person with long-term sobriety involved in the Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous groups. DUI/DWI offenders considered to be serious offenders will likely have to serve jail time at a minimum before beginning their assigned counseling or substance abuse treatment program.
