  • Drug Overdose Facts
  • An Ecstasy high can be described as a felling of well-being, a sense of euphoria, enhanced sense of touch, sound and color, along with a boost in energy.
  • Combining Ecstasy with ketamine, an anesthetic used in veterinary medicine, is called "kitty flipping".
  • About 90% of chronic methamphetamine users will experience severe withdrawal symptoms when they abruptly stop using the drug.
  • Acetaminophen is metabolized solely by the liver, so there is a risk of fatal overdose due to hepatotoxicity when someone takes too much Vicodin.
  • Animal studies indicate that Ecstasy use causes adverse cognitive effects from pre and neonatal exposure to the drug.

Dui/Dwi Offender Programs

DUI/DWI offenders are often required to participate in a specific number of hours either in counseling, meetings or a drug or alcohol treatment program. Each state has its own requirements when it comes to retribution for the DUI/DWI offender. Offenders who are deemed low to moderate DUI/DWI offenders will typically engage in some form of group counseling or therapy. These are sometimes referred to as "Level I & Level II Alcohol Classes". These group meetings are often held by a professional in the field of addiction recovery or a person with long-term sobriety involved in the Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous groups. DUI/DWI offenders deemed to be serious offenders will likely have to serve jail time at a minimum before beginning their assigned counseling or alcohol treatment program.
