  • Drug Overdose Facts
  • Due to the fact that individuals who take Xanax on a regular basis will build a tolerance to the drug, physical dependence is almost a certainty.
  • Crack cocaine is often abused in binges, taken repeatedly within a relatively short period of time at increasingly higher doses.
  • Although many people are reported to survive, thousands of people in the United States are reported to die from complications that are directly linked to a cocaine overdose.
  • Emergency room visits for people aged 21 or older, as a result of nonmedical use of pharmaceuticals increased 111.0 percent between 2004 and 2009.
  • Ambien use can cause the users to carry on full conversations while actually asleep, and be able to respond as though they were fully awake, while being obviously incoherent and having no relevance to the current situation.

Outpatient Treatment

Drug or alcohol treatment services which are provided on an outpatient basis are available to addicted individuals who have circumstances which prevent them from being able to participate in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. An outpatient substance abuse rehab program offers many of the same services as an inpatient program, but allows for flexibility as opposed to an inpatient drug or alcohol rehab center where the person is required to stay and reside at the treatment program until treatment has been fully completed. Outpatient drug rehab is also available for those who have completed residential or inpatient treatment but require a thorough aftercare program which will provide further support and therapy to help them remain clean and sober.
