Outpatient Treatment

Drug or alcohol treatment programs which are offered on an outpatient basis are readily available to addicted people who have circumstances which prevent them from being able to participate in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. An outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program delivers many of the same services as an inpatient program, but allows for flexibility as opposed to an inpatient drug rehabilitation facility where the individual is expected to remain at the rehab program until treatment has been fully completed. Outpatient drug or alcohol rehab is also offered for those who have already gone through residential or inpatient treatment but also need a comprehensive aftercare program which will provide further support and therapy to help them remain clean and sober.

People who speak other languages, other than English that is, should receive substance abuse treatment which is on par with English speakers. Speakers of other languages should not feel that their treatment curriculum or treatment setting is going to be any less effective because they don't speak English. There are many drug rehab centers available which provide services to those who speak foreign languages, all of which provide various programs to choose from. For example, some drug and alcohol rehab facilities which can treat those who speak other languages are only short term rehab facilities, and others are longer term programs. Foreign language speakers should consult with an addiction professional in their area to choose a drug rehab facility which would be suitable to their needs.

Self Pay (Out of Pocket)

Self payment drug rehab programs are an excellent alternative to other types of rehab centers i.e. private medical insurance and state funded programs. Individuals who are able to attend self payment programs pay for their entire treatment process out of pocket. Keep in mind though, this does not mean that they will not have access to financial assistance if needed. It just means that self payment is their primary method of covering the cost of their drug or alcohol rehab program. In order to learn more about self payment programs, contact a drug treatment center and inquire as to their payment options. It is a good idea to contact a number of programs so that you have an understanding of your choices with regards to rehab options and payment methods.

Medicaid Coverage

Medicaid is a type of health insurance which is made available to people in certain low-income tax brackets. Payment Assistance (based on Facility)

Many drug and alcohol treatment facilities in the United States provide payment assistance to people suffering with drug or alcohol addiction and want to get help. The person in need of rehabilitation can choose a rehabilitation program which is a good fit, meaning the treatment plan and design of the program would provide them the best results. The addicted person can then talk to one of the treatment professionals at the drug or alcohol rehabilitation program to go over what kind of payment assistance options are available or that they qualify for. The financial department in most drug rehabilitation facilities are more than willing to work with potential clients to get them started by offering payment assistance, and if this is unavailable, treatment professionals will usually work with the individual to find an equivalent or similar rehab program which is more affordable or that can provide workable financing options so that they can receive the rehabilitation they so desperately need.
