Outpatient Treatment

Drug rehabilitation services which are offered on an outpatient basis are available to addicted individuals who have circumstances which prevent them from being able to take part in an inpatient treatment program. An outpatient drug rehabilitation center delivers many of the same services as an inpatient program, but allows for flexibility as opposed to an inpatient drug rehab facility where the person is required to stay and reside at the rehab program until treatment is complete. Outpatient drug or alcohol treatment is also available for those who have completed residential or inpatient treatment but require a comprehensive aftercare program which will provide additional support and treatment to help them avoid relapse.

Other Language Programs

People who speak other languages, other than English that is, should be able to receive drug or alcohol rehabilitation which is on par with English speakers. Speakers of other languages should not feel that their treatment opportunities are limited or inferior because they don't speak English. There are quite a few substance abuse treatment facilities available which cater to those who speak foreign languages, all of which provide various programs to choose from. For example, some substance abuse rehabilitation facilities which can treat people who speak other languages are only short term rehab facilities, and others are longer term programs. Foreign language speakers should consult with a treatment professional in their area to choose a drug rehabilitation facility which would be suitable to their needs.

Self Pay (Out of Pocket)

Self payment drug rehabilitation programs are a great alternative to other types of treatment programs i.e. private medical insurance and state funded programs. People who are capable of attending self payment programs pay for their entire treatment process out of pocket. Keep in mind though, this does not mean that they will not have access to financial assistance if needed. It just means that self payment is their primary method of covering the cost of their drug rehab program. In order to learn more about self payment programs, contact a drug or alcohol rehabilitation program and ask about their payment options. It is a good idea to contact a number of facilities so that you have a comparison of your choices regarding treatment options and payment methods.

Payment Assistance (based on Facility)

Many substance abuse rehab centers in the United States provide payment assistance to people having difficulties with drug or alcohol addiction and want to get help. The individual in need of treatment can choose a rehab facility which is a good fit, meaning the treatment plan and design of the program will offer them the best results. The addicted individual can then consult with one of the treatment professionals at the drug rehab facility to discuss what kind of payment assistance options are available or that they qualify for. The financial department in most drug rehabilitation facilities are more than willing to work with potential clients to get them started by offering payment assistance, and if this is unavailable, treatment professionals will typically work with the individual to locate an equivalent or comparable treatment program which is more affordable or that can offer workable financing options so that they can acquire the rehabilitation they so desperately need.
